The Mgr. Melody is super sweet, great customer service, This place is a hidden Gem! Their little restaurant, and bar are both great, the bartender is super cool, I'm sorry I can't remember his name. The place is super ckean, and everyone we met was so friendly!
This place is so 1985 that it makes me want to put away my cellphone and just experience it. Exterior shows the wear of the desert but inside things seem to have been pretty well kept up. The room appointments are somewhat up to date and not at all gross. The staff are really nice and genuine people. Has a restaurant (ok, great chicken fingers) and 24 hour bar. I saw some slot machines around but didn't really check out the gambling. Solid 3 star hotel. I paid 110 with tax during busy season. They also seem to have very reasonable extended stay rates.
This place is amazing!!! Even though the parking lot was being redone I did get to walk down to the river when I first arrived and it was beautiful. The staff were extremely friendly, and my whole experience was great!!
Had a bite to eat at the new Bruce's Taste of Chicago. It's located in the back of the hotel next to the bar and I was pleasantly surprised. Excellent Chicago beef sandwiches! They might not put the giardinera ON the sandwich but just ask, they'll probably do it. Mine was on the side and it was still fabulous. Great people that run this place, super friendly and happy to have you. It's only a 5 min drive from the main party of Laughlin but well worth it. Get the fries and if you've been to United Center, they have the BBQ beef too!
It is an older facility, kept up by a great crew (Melody, Stacey, Gordon and many others). The location is outside of the busy strip area and adds to the casual atmosphere. Chicago style food in the restaurant is very good and has a variety on the menu that is surprisingly large for such a small restaurant. The employees are all so helpful and accommodating and my every request is handled quickly and politely. Room rates are low for weekly rentals (considering it is a casino town with some very expensive rooms on the strip). I am a single male (recently widowed after 50 yrs.) and am so happy with the comradarie with the other guests, they all make me feel so welcome and part of the group without being intrusive. I would definitely recommend the Bayshore Inn for a long term rental in this beautiful town.
This place is older but the inside appears to have been remodeled recently. They definitely need to hire a landscaper. If I were to suggest what they need to work on would be the boat ramp and the beach area next to the water. If they got rid of all the brush and weeds and got a few semi loads of sand they could make a beach area. The water in this area is pretty swampy but it wasn't bad when the water came up. I did launch my jet ski but next time I will go over to big bend because the ramp was really small and a long ways to back up. The bar/restaurant in the back was nice, food was good. I would stay here again.
Stayed 6 months. A very nice place... and the Lady running it is awesome. Staff, cleanliness, rooms, beds they are all superb. Can't go wrong with the Bayshore Inn. Thanks Melody for the pleasant stay.
